Our Treasure in Jesus

God, we love you! As your Church help us do what it takes to let the people of Tunisia grasp the Good News that Jesus is coming back like lightning! (Matthew 24:27)

Pray for a Tunisian Believer

Z is an older gentleman from the countryside in the North. He is a new believer who loves God deeply. He shares with his wife and mother, and they are open and love to hear the stories of Christ. Z does not know other Christians who live in his area and is afraid of persecution. Pray that God will comfort Z and that His perfect love will free Z from all fear.

Prayer for Boldness

“Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.” (Luke 10:3 ESV).

Lord Jesus, you have sent your followers in Tunisia out as lambs in the midst of wolves. Be their ever-mindful, every-caring shepherd as you grow them in confidence and steadfastness to trust you as the wolves encircle and threaten. Would you give them a supernatural, attractive gentleness that even their suffering might a witness to their enemies who would see them divided and lost. (Luke 10:3).

Pray for a Segment of Society

Government ministry workers He still wasn’t over it. As he walked in to report for duty at the Ministry of the Interior, the conversation seemed almost surreal. These new Christian neighbours of his were demolishing his previously-conceived notions of what it meant to follow Jesus. “How could anyone care that much for people?” he wondered as he remembered sitting in his home, tears flowing as the neighbour lady spoke with such empathy about a human rights abuse she’d witnessed. The ministry Yousef worked with was famous for making insurgents “disappear.” Pray for Yousef’s encounters with these strange practicing Christians to prompt him to reach out for the One to whom they give the glory.

Inspirational Quotes

“If you are ever inclined to pray for a missionary, do it at once, where ever you are. Perhaps he may be in great peril at that moment.” – Amy Carmichael, 1867-1951, missionary to India
