Our Treasure in Jesus

God, we love you! As your Church, help us do what it takes to let the people of Tunisia grasp the Good News that Jesus knowingly took one step after another toward Jerusalem knowing He would be condemned to death, mocked, flogged, crucified and then be raised on the third day! (Matthew 20:19)

Pray for a Tunisian Believer

T is middle-aged woman with two children. One of her children is autistic and unable to function at all. She doesn’t know how to help him and the school won’t help her. T desperately says that if the Messiah will work a miracle, she will follow Him. Pray for a miracle in T’s life and in her son’s life! Pray for healing. Pray for strength. Pray for wisdom.

Prayer for Boldness

“So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.” (John 16:22 ESV).

Lord Jesus, write the promise of your return and the power of your spirit upon the hearts of your followers in Tunisia that they would be filled with the joy of salvation and expectation that no one can take away from them. (John 16:22) Even in the darkness of persecution and doubt and fear, may their joy be unshakable.

Pray for a Segment of Society

Those caught in prostitution “But there are those for whom it’s all they’ve ever known,” Nessrine recalled sadly as she recounted the story of someone she knew, caught up in a lifestyle of career prostitution. At age 11, she was abused returning home from a birthday party. When her father saw her in that desperate state, his heart was filled with shame and instead of mourning and embarking on a journey of healing, he pitched his daughter out of the house. She was just a child. These issues are deep and complex and are also fuelled by Islam’s warped view of what it means to “be a man.” Pray for women who are being used and abused across North Africa, that the restorative work of the Holy Spirit would take place in their hearts.
