TESTIMONY FROM A TUNISIAN BELIEVER

I am a twenty-two year old woman and study at the university. Before I was born, my mother dedicated me to an Islamic saint and made a covenant. Every year of my life I was made to go back to the marabout, cut myself, and do a blood sacrifice. I feel that I have been in spiritual bondage and want to break free. I had a vision six times in which someone was holding my hand. The man said, “I love you. Follow me.” I wondered if He could be the Messiah. I searched in many places. Finally, I found someone on the internet who explained God’s love to me. Unfortunately, I have been living in much sin and all of my friends are like me. At first, I was in denial that my actions were actually sin, but the Lord convicted me and I spent one night in a prayer of repentance. I know of many others, like me, living in sin. Please pray that God will convict them of their sins, rescue them, and give them new life. Pray also that I will be completely free in Christ.

Pray that the church will be super clear:

• that God wants to save the lost (through the Gospel)
• that God wants to the lost to become like Christ (through the church)

PRAY MIRACLES FROM THE BIBLE

“Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” (Matthew 14:22-27)

Pray that God will give Tunisian Christians courage and take away fear.

In Acts 19:16-20, believers confessed their magic practices and burned their magic books. Ask God to show Tunisian believers if there are any articles that He wants them to burn, even articles that are very valuable. Ask God to guide them on how and when to burn them. Pray that they would get rid of them with other believers present so that their actions will stir others to repent and cleanse their lives as well. Pray that as Tunisians cleanse their lives the gospel will advance in the lives of others.
