TESTIMONY FROM A TUNISIAN BELIEVER

I am a twenty-two year old woman. My family situation is very difficult, especially with my father. I finally ran away. I went through some very hard circumstances. One day a friend introduced me to a Christian family. They welcomed me and told me about the Messiah. They said, “The Messiah is able to help you in your suffering.” Later I got online and was looking for a solution to my problems. Again, I was shocked to find information about the Messiah. I met Christians and they prayed with me a lot. One day I woke up and I had such joy in my heart. I heard a voice say, “Accept the Messiah. Accept the Messiah.” I accepted Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit. I felt new life come into my body and fill me with strength and renew my soul. Within a week, God began to prompt me to forgive my father. Pray that God will give me faith to trust Him and forgive my father. Pray for others who are bound by the slavery of bitterness and unforgiveness. Pray that God will give them strength to forgive.

OBSTACLE TO A DISCIPLE MAKING MOVEMENT IN TUNISIA

Pray that Christians will have a heart to start new churches among their friends and family.

PRAY MIRACLES FROM THE BIBLE

“The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.” (Matthew 28:5-9)

Many Tunisians are resistant to the idea that the Messiah died and rose again. Today, as we celebrate Easter, pray that Tunisians would understand God’s plan and power through the resurrection of Jesus.

MOVEMENT PRAYERS

from GOD’S GRACE FOR THE WORLD by Trevor Larson

“And all the people saw him walking and praising God…” (Acts 3:6-10) Pause to pray that people will be healed through the ministry of Jesus’ followers in Tunisia. Pray that healings done “in the name of Jesus” will touch hearts and draw people to Jesus. Praise God for any miracles He has done for you or for others you know. Take time to embrace the wonder and amazement over what God has done, and in faith, welcome what He will do.

ZUME PRAYER
